Where O' Death nearly caused my death, Zion Train nearly caused me to embarrass myself, let me explain. The sound system at the Wickerman Festival this year was astounding, producing a clear and precise HiFi sound in epic proportions and Zion Train certainly tested the limits of the bottom end. As I walked back to my camera bag, to change a lens, I walked past the bass bins and my body vibrated to such a degree that I now believe in "brown noise".
Zion Train are one of the bands I am going to remember from Wickerman 2009. While I knew of their music beforehand there is nothing to beat a live performance to bring those songs to life. I am sure many would listen to the dub reggae sounds of Zion Train in a dark room with a jumbo sized hand rolled "cigarette" the music of Zion Train was equally at home on the main stage of the Wickerman Festival. Few people could resist the urge to move to the groove!
