Blackjack and Omaha

Blackjack, previously called Vingt and Black Jack, are actually an American version of the French game Vinaigrette or Spanish version of the same name. Blackjack was first played in Mexico and is a very popular card game for people in the southwest of the USA. Although it is also very popular in Europe.

In addition to Vinaigrette and Blackjack, there are also many variations on the basic game. For example, there are four card Blackjack games which are recognized in all fifty States of the USA, and Blackjack Omaha, which are similar except with two rounds.

In blackjack, you have two decks of cards and one table that can be shared by everyone who wants to play. The dealer will deal seven cards to each player, face down, in order from ace to king. The player to your left will deal seven cards to your right. The dealer deals one card to the dealer in front of the players, followed by three to the person behind him, then four to the next person to your left, followed by five to the last person to the left, followed by six to the person behind him, followed by seven to the dealer, and finally nine to the player to your left. After the deal, the deck is shuffled and dealt one more time to the player behind you.

In blackjack Omaha, you have two decks of cards and one table that can be shared by up to seven players. The dealer will deal seven cards to each player, face down, from ace to king. The person to your left will deal seven cards to your right.

The dealer will deal four cards to the dealer in front of the players, followed by five to the person behind him, followed by six to the next player to the left, followed by seven cards to the dealer, followed by eight to the next player to your left and last but not least four cards to the player in front of you. After the deal, the deck is shuffled and dealt one more time to the other players. The person to your left is going to deal seven cards to your right, followed by five cards to the person behind him. Then the dealer will deal one card to each player in turn. The player with the lowest score at the end of the game wins. The rules for blackjack Omaha are the same as the rules for Blackjack Vinaigrette.

Both blackjack games are based on the same rules, including the betting, and have the same cards dealt to the players. The key difference is in the number of players.
