About Falkirk

Falkirk is a town and a council area. The council area is split into six Area Forums as follows:

Bo'ness Area Forum which includes Blackness and Bo'ness.

Denny, Bonnybridge and Banknock Area Forum which includes; Allandale, Banknock, Bonnybridge, Denny, Dennyloanhead, Dunipace, Haggs and Longcroft.

Falkirk Area Forum which includes; Bainsford, Camelon, the town of Falkirk, Hallglen, Tamfourhill and Woodlands,

Grangemouth Area Forum which includes Grangemouth and Skinflats.

Larbert & Stenhousemuir Area Forum which includes; Airth, Carron, Carronshore, Dunmore, Larbert, Letham and Stenhousemuir.

Falkirk has a number of famous visitor attractions including the unique Falkirk Wheel which is the world's first and only rotating boat lift. Surprisingly the wheel is well equiped for the visitor. This engineering and design wonder continues to grow in popularity and is now one of the most visited attractions in Scotland.
