Rockness Music Festival 2008 - The Isle of Harris Mob
Rockness 2008 was a scream and the photographs below are of some of the guys who came over for the weekend from the Isle of Harris in the Outer Hebrides/Western Isles of Scotland. I usually bump into a couple of people from the islands at the music festivals held in Scotland but with Rockness being only a few hours away I should not have been surprised to see so many there but some of the faces I would only expect to see at the Hebridean Celtic Festival.
After such a fantastic weekend I suspect that Rockness 2009 will be attended by a great many more from the islands and around the UK. It was great to see that the guys from Our Lunar Activities managed to make it and perform to their usual standard and I hope to see them again soon at the Anchorage ;-) The band seem not to have stopped since I saw them last year at the Wickerman Music Festival but it was great to see them on the main stage where they belong!
