The photograph above is a close up pic taken of the head of the Wickerman using a Nikon D70 using a cheap and nasty 70-300mm lense set at the full 300mm, with a graduated blue filter. It was taken without a tripod, I rested the camera on a wall and used the remote to take the photo. The festival was great and I will be going again in 2008. I hope that we get the weather as I have a new Canon 5D which is far superior to the Nikon, the 17-40mm lense has an amazing stability control and I am hoping that by the time of the festival I will be able to afford a Canon 70-300 the the same stability gadget. I will also make it a point to pack a tripod!
