The Singing Butler By Jack VettrianoJack Vettriano was born is Scotland in 1951. Many people consider his work "poster art" however it remains fact that he is Scotland's most successful living artist. The Singing Butler (shown left - click to enlarge and more info) is, most probably, his most famous work to date.

 

Whister - Portrait of his motherJames Abbott McNeill Whistler 1834 -1903. Whistler has certainly left his mark, much contoversy has been generated from speculation that he was, or knew, Jack The Ripper. Eillean Donan CastleEillean Donan Castle : Used as a location in the Hollywood Blockbuster Highlander this castle (click image to view an enlargement and a bit more info) is the most photographed place in Scotland. Well worth a visit, in fact it should be considered a must.
