Eillean Donan: The photograph above was taken during my recent trip down to the south of England. We have driven past Eillean Donan so many times that pictures had to be taken. While I was down south I purchased a Nikon D70 so on my return to the Outer Hebrides I took a few photos. We even did the full tour and many thanks to all there who were incredibly helpful and the guide was an inspiration. I would advise anyone visiting Scotland to take the time to visit this amazing historic place.

I will be selling this image of Eillean Donan Castle at some stage, initially only at 21cm x 30 cm but I am looking into having it printed at 5ft x 5ft on canvas which I have been led to believe is possible. If this is correct the D70 is one hell of a camera, I am already amazed at the depth of colour which I feel is comparable to Fuji Velvia but you really have to see it to appreciate the tonal range.
